Assalamu Alaykum Wara7matullah,
I initially began this blog to not only ”put my ideas out there,” but to also experiment with the field of journalism and publication–for poems, articles, short stories, free writes, and creative nonfiction. Alhamdulillah, this site had undergone an immense transformation since then, as I have shifted my focus from secular writing to Islamic research and discussion. Insha’Allah, the works presented will echo the Islamic Perspective on the topics I’ve researched, while my poems and short stories will continue to subsume general topics: nature, personal growth, family, and American Palestinian culture. I’m still an amateur–a student of ’Ilm of Islam; it is merely my passion for writing and deen-Allah that has pushed me to take this initial step, so your feedback and corrections are very much welcomed.
Jazaakum Allah Wassalaamu Alaykum,
Rania Abuisnaineh
Hello, Rania.
Thank you so much for dropping by my blog site…
I really appreciate it. I seem to like your blog as well. I will be subscribing to it… I’ll also edit my blog, since you were looking for a way to subscribe to it.
Thank you so much for that comment–I’m subscribed to your blog as well! And by the way, is there a way to make it so that only a few lines of my post show up on the front page? My posts are long, and I don’t want them to take up too much space…I went to the “Reading” settings, and changed a few things, but nothing seems to work. Thank you in advance…
Rania Abuisnaineh
Yeah don’t worry about it–But thank you anyway!
Rania Abuisnaineh
You are pretty good for an amateur, MashAllah!
Rania you are no amateur and you are really good and the school wanted your work to be published that saids a lot.. And the person calling you an amateur I am sure has not written anything as good as you!!! Keep up the good work. You put a smile to my face everytime I read your stuff, you have an amazing mind and a big heart and that will take you far in life!!!
Thank you so much Stephanie, knowing that you’re enjoying my work really means a lot. You’re a poet yourself, with your own unique style and original work–Hearing that from you totally made my day…
Thanks,
Rania Abuisnaineh
Hey Rania I don’t ever want to hear you call yourself an amateur again NEVER!!! you need to take that word out of your vocab right now!! lol I am glad it made your day.. you are awesome!!
Rania, I am really enjoying your blog. Arabic verse and writing is so perfect and romantic, and yours is no exception. Beautiful site.
Thank you Menina!
If I may ask, do you speak/read/write Arabic? It truly is a beautiful language…When Arabic poets speak, all words–even when unintentionally–seem to roll smoothly off their tongues; in fact, end rhymes, rythme and assonance come effortlessly to even the most incompetent of poets. Amazing, right?
Enjoy your day, and I hope to hear more from you soon.
Rania Abuisnaineh
It’s good to hear you’re still writing creatively, Rania. Your poetry and prose is excellent.
I must confess to only a cursory knowledge of Islam although I do have Muslim friends. So reading your thoughts from this perspective will be extremely interesting.
I’m a religious non-believer but I also believe in everyone’s right to their own beliefs. (Does that make sense?)
Keep up the good work, Rania. You have a talent for writing.
